The GutenCast is the flagship podcast promoting the books that are published by GutenBookPress (and Athanatos Publishing Group, etc), its authors, and ‘big ideas’ in general.
This is a ‘rough’ draft page for supporters of the podcast so they can see the future plans and current needs of the program.

This list is subject to change as every week we discover new things that would make the program ‘that’ much better.
Technical needs:
Subscription to Storyblocks ($360/yr or $35/mo)
An upgrade to the full, professional version of Da Vinci Resolve ($300-$600; Studio and Fusion)
An additional Shure microphone for ‘in studio’ guests ($400; plus, potentially, tri-pods, etc)
Marketing needs:
$50 – $100 advertising on X/Rumble/Youtube PER EPISODE
Editing needs:
$100 – $200 PER EPISODE to generate smaller clips from podcast sessions, which are then promoted
FUTURE:
The ‘in studio’ set up is ad hoc and could use more permanent set up.
The hiring of someone to run the technical aspects while the show is in progress would be super useful (our own Jamie!)
BUDGET NOW:
For sponsors or ‘patreons’: $2,000 / mo would go a long way to propelling the program to greater success.
BUDGET LATER:
Obviously, hiring someone will be expensive. Theoretically, as the program gets established it will start generating revenue, and from this revenue someone can be hired.
