From its inception, Gutenbookpress.com has wanted to bridge the divide between physical assets and digital currencies. In fact, the owners of the site has already dabbled in the process, launching its own meme coin!
The problem is very simple: most manufacturers, suppliers, producers, printers, and the like are not going to accept a crypto-currency in exchange for their products. Thus, any payment made using a crypto-currency would have to be converted into USD at some point in the transaction. This complicates matters.
Nonetheless, the market seems ripe. Crypto-currencies are increasingly accepted for physical products and it is getting easier to convert these into US dollars. Gutenbookpress.com aims to be one of the first online retailers to bridge this gap.
This will occur in several phases. Each phase requires several steps to bring to completion, but in summary:
